Dawn Melody McPherson, age 65 of Thayer, MO, was born August 14, 1956, in Baltimore, MD, and passed away February 28, 2022, at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, MO. Survivors include: her husband, Rodger McPherson; her mother, Pamela H. Stover; her sister, Marna Capri and husband David Roepnack; her children, Alison Dawn and husband Declan DuFrain, Melody Marie and husband Tony Mallamas, and Alicia Michaels Speidel; step-children Shirley McPherson, Steven and Jennie McPherson and their 6 children and her 7 grandchildren Abby, Rudy, Leila, Danny, Sam, Rauri and Amelia; nieces, Capri Bristow and Monet Cheyenne Shoeman; nephew, Shane Madden. She was preceded in death by: her mother, Doris Stover; her father, Herbert Gwinn “Smokey” Stover III; her sister, Robin; her brother, Mark “Smokey Jr”; and stepson Joseph Dean. Services will be 1pm Friday, March 4, 2022, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Wayne Hurst officiating, and burial following in the Thayer Cemetery. Visitation will be 12pm-1pm just prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
