Patsy June Brewer, was born the daughter of Ward and Emma (Combs) Brewer on July 25, 1937, in Myrtle, MO, and passed this life on October 6, 2026, at the age of 89. She is survived by: one son, Patrick Simmons of Thayer, MO; one grandson, Jackson Simmons; three granddaughters, Amanda, Tiffany, and Kara; one great-grandson, J.J. Simmons; one brother, Junior Brewer of Thayer, MO; two sisters-in-law, Jean Simmons and Jan Simmons. Pat was preceded in death by: her parents, Ward and Emma Brewer; her brothers, Paul, Bob, Jay, and R.E.; her sisters, Vada, JoAnn, Sadie, and Wilma; her sons, Jackie and Eddie (Doc) Simmons; and one daughter, Frankie Simmons; three husbands, Edward Simmons, Ray Hopper, and Carl Griffith. Pat loved her family and was always checking in on her neighbors. She loved to fish in her younger years and always enjoyed the thrill of a scratch off ticket…win or lose! She was a wonderful person, an amazing aunt, and loved by many. Pat departed this life trusting Jesus Christ as her Savior and through all the toughest days she was a strong woman. Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO. |
