Brian Douglas Bridges, age 45, passed away on April 19, 2026. He was born on May 21, 1980, and spent his life bringing joy, laughter, and warmth to those around him. Brian is survived by his father, Dennis Bridges, his brother, Doug Bridges and Doug’s wife Karen Crews Bridges. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Bridges, whom he missed terribly since her passing. Brian was known for his quick wit, sharp intelligence, and truly big heart. He had a natural gift for humor and timing. He was always ready with the perfect joke or clever remark just when it was needed most. If Brian was in the room, laughter was never far behind. He had a deep love for movies and television, often sharing his favorites with family and friends or quoting memorable lines at just the right moment. Whether it was a classic film or a new series, Brian found joy in storytelling and loved connecting with others through it. More than anything, Brian will be remembered for the way he made people feel: welcomed, entertained, and appreciated. His presence brought lightness to even the heaviest days, and his memory will continue to bring smiles to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday, April 24, 2026 at the Bailey Cemetery under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bailey Cemetery. |
