Loretta Faye Wheeler, age 75 of Batesville, AR, was born August 20, 1950, in Koshkonong, MO, and passed away January 23, 2026, at St. Bernard’s Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. Survivors include: 6 children, Sarah Wheeler of Southside, AR, Sasha Vance (Theo) of Southside, AR, Darrell Wheeler of Southside, AR, Bobby Hollingshad of Southside, AR, Lynn Hollingshad of Koshkonong, MO, and William Hollingshad of Koshkonong, MO; 7 grandchildren; 5 siblings, Renee Turner of Dallas, TX, Berta Guy of Broken Arrow, OK, Joe Russell of Koshkonong, MO, Chris Russell of Koshkonong, MO, and Leroy Russell of Bakersfield, MO; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Gerald Wayne Wheeler; her parents, William Wayne and Thelma Juanita (Francis) Russell; her siblings, Glee Russell, Junior Russell, and Buck Russell. Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Bob Turner officiating, with burial following in the Jolliff Cemetery in Koshkonong, MO. Visitation will be 1pm-2pm just prior to the service. |
