Jimmie Howard “Jim” or “Pops” Conley, was born December 20, 1943, in Palo Alto, CA, to Gladys May Denney. He was married to his wife, Meda Irene Phenix, on June 10, 1977.

Jim is survived by: his children, Crissie, of the home, Jimmie Conley II (Janet), Janie Conley, and Jamie Conley; grandchildren, Amanda Voyles (Cody), Amber Johnson (Cole), James Conley, April Conley, Jessica Conley, Delia Conley, William Conley, David Conley, and his reason for fighting so long, Kasey (Abby) Conley; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Haley, Braxton, Mason, Jackson, Ashe, Elliot, Adalynn, and his pride and joy, Remington; sisters, Pamala Keeton (Virgil), Betty Wilkerson, and Becky Koontz (Ted); best bud, Pam Dees; son-in-law, Joey Elliott.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Meda; his mother, Gladys Denney; his grandparents, James and Anna Denney, John and Lena Conley; his brother, Denney Conley; sister, Janet Conley-Smith; 3 children, Ricky, Donna, and Kathy; several brother & sister-in-laws.

Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with burial following in the Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, AR. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
