Patricia Rhea Burgess, age 74 of Thayer, MO, was born January 9, 1951, and passed away January 19, 2025, at Shady Oaks Healthcare in Thayer, MO. Survivors include: her mother, Geneva Carolee (Hays) Barton; 6 stepchildren, Becky Hulsey & husband Joe of Lead Hill, AR, Lynda Keeling & husband Randy of Rogers, AR, Dale Burgess & wife Debbie of Dardanelle, AR, Pamela Clairday of Summerdale, AL, Catherine Meadows & husband Marc of St. Joseph, MO, Brenda Langston & husband Sean of Lowry City, MO; 1 sister, Geneva Smith & husband, David of St. Charles, MO; 1 brother, Loren Barton & wife Shelly of Thayer, MO; several nieces & nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Gary; her father, Willard Thomas Barton. Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Melvin Haas and Loren Barton officiating, and burial following in the Cave Springs Cemetery in Alton, MO. Visitation will be 1pm-2pm prior to the service.
