Norma Jean (Smith) Kallak age 87 of Alton, MO was born in North Venice, Illinois to Earl Dean Smith and Lavada Nance Smith on May 1, 1937. On August 17, 2024 she went to be with Jesus.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband Russell John Kallak, her parents, two sisters, Esther Strain (Alton, MO) and Janet Minich (West Plains, MO), three brothers, Billy Dean Smith (infant), Larry Hunter (West Plains, MO) Gary Hunter (Kansas City, MO) one brother in law Carl Watson (West Plains, MO).

Norma is survived by two sisters Wanda Watson, (John Adams) of West Plains, MO, and Brenda Bamberger of Warren, MO, and one brother Dean Minich (Betty) of Mountain Home, Arkansas. She is also survived by many other family, friends, nieces, and nephews that she loved very much, including Kalon, Allanah, Eric, Taylor Honeycutt and families. You were her cherished "grandchildren" shared by someone who loved her dearly.

Norma retired from the United States Postal Service Data Center Processing and Control Division in St. Louis, MO. After retirement she made her home in Alton, MO with her husband Russell and their puppy.

Services will be at 10:00 am Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton MO with Bro. Darrell Strain officiating, and burial at the Smyrna Cemetery, Alton, MO. Pallbearers: Jeff Honeycutt, Jim Thompson, Adam Bandy, Levi Schmidt, Hunter Schmidt, and Eric Honeycutt. Honorary Pallbearers: Dean Minich, John Adams, Kalon Honeycutt, Elisha Honeycutt, Ezra Honeycutt, Hollyn Honeycutt, Roran Honeycutt, and Emmett Honeycutt.
