James Keith Langston, age 87 of Mammoth Spring, AR, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at home. He was born November 4, 1936, in rural Mammoth Spring to Carl F. Langston and Clara (Yeahley) Langston. Keith was a member of Pilot Church of Christ. He was a dozer operator, farmer, and truck driver. He was a former board member for the Federal Land Bank and Mammoth Spring Schools. He served as an MP in the Army from 1961-1963.

Keith was united in marriage to Bette (Laster) Langston on March 21, 1962, and to this union 2 children were born.

Keith is survived by: his wife, Bette, of 62 years; daughter, Julia (Bobby) Chance; son, Randal (Charlotte) Langston; grandchildren, Logan (Julie) Langston, Luke (Whitney) Langston, Aubrey Chance, and Savannah Chance; great-grandchildren, Ella Rae, Kynlee, Keith Cross, Kip Tyler, Brant, Preslee, and Ayza; 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Jane (Larry) Taylor, and Elouise (Doug) Johnson; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Keith was preceded in death by: his parents; 1 sister, Jean Daniel; 2 brothers-in-law, Bill Daniel and Hugh Laster, Jr.

Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, March 29, 2024, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Jeff Lancaster and Bro. Ricky Ragsdale officiating, and burial following in the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be 1pm-2pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shiloh Cemetery Fund at the Simmons Bank in Mammoth Spring, AR.
