Marcus Wayne Newman, age 88 of Alton, MO was born June 19, 1935, in Springfield, MO and passed away January 15, 2024, at his home. Survivors include two sons Ernest (Brendia) Newman and Edward Newman, a daughter Ramona (Robert) Taylor, eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gayford Newman, and Lucille Routh-Newman, his wife Judith, daughter Alice gay Newman, step-mother Lela Clark, son Johnny Newman, sister Norma Essary, two brothers Richard and Jack Newman. Services will be 1:00pm Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with visitation Noon-1:00pm. Burial will be in the Myrtle Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Micheal Bettis, Devin Harvey, Tim Winchester and Jason Newman. |
