Laddie Eugene Norris passed away on November 27, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. at the age of 82. Born on June 12, 1941 at home in Rocky to Ollie Mae (Weaver) and Charles Elvie Norris.

Laddie attended Winona High School graduating in 1958. After graduating he farmed as well as owned and operated the Sinclair Station and Norris Brothers Oil Company with his brother Ernie for 10 years, he then continued farming and working for Vaughn's Redi Mix out of Winona and later retired from Missouri Hardwood Flooring in Birch Tree, Mo.

On September 12, 1958 Laddie married the love of his life Mary Helen McAfee and together built a family filled with love and laughter. Laddie was a devoted father to Kathi (Steve) Thomas and Darren (Julie) Norris all of Winona, his legacy continued to grow with the joy of his 4 grandkids Justina Norris, Jesse Norris, Cole (Judy) Thomas, Ashley (Jamie) Vanwinkle, 7 great grandchildren Austin Needels, Nathaniel Roberts, Chalin Norris, Charity Norris, Kaiden Vanwinkle, Kamden Vanwinkle, Karlee Vanwinkle, 3 great great grandchildren Emberlynn Needels, Khale Needels, and Tristan Needels.

Laddie enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors, gigging, hunting, and growing tomatoes. He cherished each moment he was surrounded by loved ones as well as friends.

Laddie is proceeded in death by his beloved wife Helen, 1 grandson Jesse Norris, sister Gatie Mitchem, 2 brothers Ernie and Erby and parents Elvie and Ollie.

Laddie will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and friend. His stories, wisdom, and the warmth of his company will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Laddie's wishes was to be cremated and buried with his wife Helen. Services will be announced at a later date
