Sharon (Mills) Campbell, daughter of the late Roscoe and Nell (Baertschi) was born on September 24, 1949, at Thayer, MO. She departed this life on October 10, 2023, at Thayer, MO, at the age of 74. She was united in marriage to Richard Campbell on August 5, 1972. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Annessa Bratten of Jonesboro, AR, and son Brian Campbell, of Thayer, MO; grandchildren Serena and Nicholas Bratten of Jonesboro, AR; and sister Ruth Farrow and husband Paul of West Plains, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Nell Mills and husband Richard Campbell. Sharon was a homemaker who had a green thumb with flowers and gardening. She loved sewing, crafts, and crocheting. She also loved playing the piano and enjoyed playing at church. Sharon was a member of the Thayer Free Will Baptist Church and later the Thayer Assembly of God. She was a loving mother, sister and friend, and most of all a proud grandma. The family will receive friends at the Clary Chapel in Thayer on Thursday, October 12 from 1-2 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. Services are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO. |
