Richard Van Hedden, age 75 of Thayer, MO, was born March 26, 1948, in Thayer, MO, and passed away August 21, 2023, at his home. Survivors include: his wife, Joyce (Haney) Hedden; 3 children, Jeff Hedden & wife Sue of White Church, MO, Diane Fuselier & husband Nathan of Thayer, MO, Chris Hedden & wife Tracey of Thayer, MO; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 4 brothers, Marvin Hedden & wife Sharon of Thayer, MO, Kenny Hedden & wife Connie of Thayer, MO, Stanley Hedden of Thayer, MO, Gordon Hedden & wife Rhonda of Thayer, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded by: his parents, Ellis & Exie (Ragan) Hedden; 4 brothers, Ronnie Hedden, Jessie Hedden, Johnny Hedden, and Roy Wayne Hedden; 1 grandchild, Brenden Hedden. Richard was a long time member of the Thayer Church of Christ. Funeral services will be 10am Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with burial following in the Thayer Cemetery. Visitation will be 9am-10am just prior to the service.
