Elizabeth Ann Madden, daughter of the late Othella & Mary Cole, was born January 12, 1948, in Medicine Mound, TX, and passed away with family at her side June 9, 2023, at the age of 75.

On April 29, 1967, she was married to Billy Joe Madden at the Two Mile Church in Thayer, MO. Ann worked 20+ years at the Thayer School where she made a difference in many lives. She also fiercely loved her family and cherished the time they spent together working in the hay fields, checking cows, trail rides, and enjoying meals during holidays, or just because.

Ann was the most caring and selfless mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife and MeMe to her family, and extended family with unconditional love for everyone. Ann did anything for anyone and there wasn’t a soul or animal turned away.

She is survived by: 4 children, Holly Isom and husband Jeff of West Plains, MO, Billy Ray Madden and wife Monica of Thayer, MO, Rebecca Wilson and husband Tyler of West Plains, MO, Rodney Langley and wife Shelley of Thayer, MO; 5 granchildren, Ceiara Madden, Taylor Madden, A.J. Isom, William Hart, Riley Wilson; 2 great-grandchildren, Meghan Reifschneider, Ella Reifschneider; 2 sisters, Phyllis Maloney and Regina Kincaid; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other friends and relatives.

She was preceded by: her parents, O.C. and Mary Cole.

Funeral services will be 1pm Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Rev. Jared Russell and Rev. Eric Bowman officiating, and burial following in the Arytown Cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
