Sue Marie (Young) Ward, age 70 of Mammoth Spring, AR, was born August 17, 1952, in Wirth, AR, and passed away February 28, 2023, in Salem, AR. Survivors include: 2 sons, Kevin Jones and Shawn Ward; 3 step-children, Bobby Ward, Ruby Murphy, Linda Anderson; 1 daughter-in-law, Sandra Ward; her partner in crime for the last several years, David Duty; serveral grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Paul Ward; her parents, Frank and Mae (Jones) Young; 2 sons, Jackie Ward and Roy Ward; 2 brothers, Charles Conley and Jerry Qualls, 3 sisters, Margie Douglas, Pearl Chambers, and Janet Thigpen; 3 infant great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2pm Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Erman Croney officiating, and burial following in the Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, AR. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
