Donna Jean Davis, age 80 of Alton, MO was born June 25, 1942, near Thomasville, MO and passed away August 8, 2022, in St Louis, MO. She married and had two children, Rita and Ronnie, was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be missed by all who knew her. She was a one-of-a-kind soul. Survivors include, daughter Rita Squires, six grandchildren, Tessa, Keegan, Joe, Cody, Scott and Timmy, five great-grandchildren, Dalton, Brooklyn, Leo, Kailyn and Beau, a sister Virginia Green and numerous other relatives and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Martin Tackett and Cora Jane Harris-Tackett, a son Ronnie Davis, a brother James Tackett, six sisters Berniece Ledgerwood, Violet Walker, Thelma Walker, Clarice Peer, Lola Strong and Dorcas Hickman, Visitation will be 1:00-2:00pm Sunday, August 14, 2022, at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with services to follow at 2:00pm, Bro. Jason Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Huddleston Cemetery. |
