Dewey Lee Counts, age 77 0f Winona, MO was born May 5, 1945, near Winona, MO and passed away July 28, 2002 Ozarks Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife Phyllis Brawley Counts, sons Matthew and Michael Counts, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a brother Monroe Counts, three sisters Batty Winters, Kathy Bettis and Minnie Mayberry, and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Jannie Chronister Counts, three brothers Harvey, John and Willie Counts and two sisters Frances Bland and Christine Honeycutt.

The body will be cremated, with a Celebration of Life and the burial of the ashes on the family farm at a later date.
