Donald Eugene Duvall, age 91 of Thayer, MO, was born May 8, 1930, in Champaign, IL, and passed away May 7, 2022, at Mtn. View Healthcare in Mtn. View, MO. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Judith Kay Duvall of Clyde, TX, and Linda Sue Duvall of Farmer City, IL; his nephew and niece, Jim “Wally†and Susan Walbridge of Champaign, IL; good friends Bobby & Jaylene Ryan of Thayer, MO; 3 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by: his wife, Marlin Joy (Mazie) Duvall; his parents, Jamie Glenn Duvall and Deloris LaVaughn (Hill) Duvall; 2 sisters, Shirley Ann Duvall and Deoris Eileen Duvall. Don graduated from Central High School in Champaign, IL, in 1948, and then shortly after entered the Army. After his military service Don worked for the United States Post Office as a postal carrier for 30 years. Graveside services will be 2pm Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at the Thayer Cemetery in Thayer, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO. |
