Sandra Kay (Ogden) Whiteside, age 69 of Mammoth Spring, AR, was born March 31, 1952, in Rockford, IL, and passed away December 13, 2021, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR.

Survivors include: her husband, Charles, of the home; 1 daughter, Ann Whiteside of Thayer, MO; 1 son, Wes Whiteside of Mammoth Spring, AR; 1 brother, Curt Ogden, of Rockford, IL; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Harold and Anna Lee (Simpson) Ogden; 1 sister, Beverly Thomas.

Sandy had one question in mind whenever she met someone new. She’d ask, “Are you a Christian?” If you were, she’d rejoice and share her love for Jesus. If you weren’t, she made sure to share her love for Jesus and witness to you. Doing this, she brought so many to Christ. That was her goal in life: share the gospel and help others, especially her kids and husband. She was a warrior for God and a true believer in the power of prayer. She was loved by all and returned the love. She will be missed dearly, but never forgotten.

Funeral services will be 10am Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the Thayer Freewill Baptist Church, with burial following in the Moten Cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Friday, December 17, 2021, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO.
