Survivors include his wife Terry Alice Brawley Oatman, nine children Michael, Christian, Ryan, Jordan and Abigail Oatmen, Toby Brawley, Shane, Kevin and Terry Griffith, five siblings, Scott, Sherri, Sarah, Josh and Andy, and numerous other relatives and friends.
