Lloyd Kenneth Hall was born the son of L.B. (Mike) Hall and Edna Ellen Reed Hall on November 1, 1943 in Greer, Missouri. He departed this life September 7, 2021, in Springfield, Missouri, at age 77 years and 9 months. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nan Lou Wynn Hall, of their home in Alton, Missouri; three children, Wynn Hall and wife Mary of Allen, Texas, Ayra Hall Hoffman and husband Dwight Hoffman of Bolivar, Missouri, Tray Hall and wife Jamie of Houston, Missouri; six grandchildren, Weston Hall, Keely Hoffman, Keagan Hall, Parker Hoffman, Ivy Hall and Lilee Hall; one brother, Phill Hall and his wife Charlotte of Dyersburg, Tennessee. Kenneth was faithful to God and his family. He lived and loved, knowing the value of both in his life. He was an active member of Alton First Baptist Church for most of his life, serving as a deacon, teacher, and lay speaker for many years. He served our country honorably in the U. S. Army in Vietnam. He spent thirty years impacting students as a high school Social Studies teacher and later on Guidance Counselor. He has served as an alderman for the Alton City Council. Funeral services are scheduled for September 11, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Alton First Baptist Church, with family visitation at 10:00 a.m., until service time. Burial will be at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are Rick Deckard, Rolla Fraley, Keagan Hall, Weston Hall, Parker Hoffman, and Buddy Hower. Honorary pallbearers are Scott Park, Chester Taylor, and Jinks Wynn. Donations can be made to Hickory Grove Cemetery. |
