Kathy Ann (Powell) Summers was born October 29th, 1955, in Thayer, MO, to Johnnie and Louise Powell and departed this life May 24th, 2021, at the age of 66.

Kathy was survived by: her son, John Summers of Bardstown, KY; two sisters, Leanna Young and late husband Joe of Newton, KS, Sue Bates & husband Everett of Thayer, MO; one brother, Richard Powell & fiancé Michelle Potts of Osakis, MN; numerous nieces and nephews. Kathy was proceeded in death by: her parents, Johnnie and Louise Powell; and her daughter, Joann Summers.

Kathy graduated from Thayer High School. She then later worked as a waitress for many years for many of the local establishments.

A celebration of life will be arranged at a later date.
