Janice Nadine Elliott passed away peacefully on Friday morning March 26, 2021 in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 76. She enjoyed living in Alton, Missouri, where she relocated to live in 2002 from St. Louis, Missouri. She loved to volunteer for the Alton Senior Center and made many friends in the community from those she met. Alton Assembly of God was where she served and became a member. She loved serving God and helping others.

Janice was born on June 10th, 1944 in St. Charles, Missouri to Nathen Edgar Elliott and Ruth Pearl Elliott. She was the youngest of her siblings. Her oldest brother Robert Edward Elliott has loved and cared for her and their mother for many years. She was preceded in death by her brother Ernest Lee Elliott and both parents and niece Christina Sue Elliott.

Janice was childless by choice, but enjoyed showering her nephew Robert Nathen Elliott, and nieces Sherry Lynn Middleton, Virginia May Gazaway, Christina Sue Elliott, and Robin Lea Elliott with lots of love and affection. As great nieces and nephews came along, she loved to send birthday and holiday gifts and cards to each child. We dare say that until her later years that nobody was ever forgotten on her devotion to each of them. At many times, the children would beg to open each of her unique and thoughtful gifts that she sent carefully wrapped each year early for Christmas. Everyone could share a story of her thoughtful ways and devotion she gave to everyone. Janice loved the Lord and served him in everything she did. Her desire was to teach of his loving grace and demonstrate this love to others. We will all miss her deeply but hold to the wonderful memories she has left to each of us.

Services will be 10:30 am Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the Clary Funeral Home Alton, MO. Visitation will be from 9:30 until service time. Following the service the body will be cremated with her ashes buried in the family plot at Many Spring Cemetery.
