Edna Pauline Johnson, age 87 of Alton, MO was born November 1, 1933 in Hoxie AR and passed away December 4, 2020 at her home.

Survivors include; one brother Carl Dean Presley, daughters Mary Russell and husband Terry of West Plains, MO, Carolyn Johnson Jackson off Mtn. Grove, MO, sons Richard Johnson and wife Annette of West Plains, MO, Billy Johnson and wife Melissa of West Plains, MO, 12 grandchildren, Jeff Johnson, Theresa Clarke Beaver, Larry Latham, Cathy Barrett, Jerry Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Billie Busbey, Clayton Johnson, Dayton Johnson, Chrystal Johnson, Lynsey Heskett and Alex Johnson, numerous great-grandchildren, a special friend Irland Crites of Alton, MO and numerous other relatives and friends.

Edna was protective over her family; she was the mother you would go to when you had a problem. She never met a stranger, she would talk to anyone and her advice to anyone and everyone would be to never let the devil get you down, she didn't and neither should you. She loved playing the lottery scratchers and cheering on the ones that won. And she loved having yard sales. She truly had a good heart toward everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Monroe Presley and Gracie Viola Williams-Presley, her husband Harrsie Johnson, brothers Hanford Presley, Odis Presley, Arvis Presley, Orville Presley, Rufus and Paul, sisters Wanda Presley Johnson and Victoria, three children Jimmy Johnson, Barbara McGee and Brenda Johnson, grandsons Brian McGee and Tony Dale Johnson.

A graveside memorial will be held at the Smith Cemetery on Sunday December 20, 2020 at 1 p.m.
