Mary Ann (Pitts) Holman was born May 19, 1941 and entered her eternal home on September 26, 2020 at the age of 79. Mary Ann was united in marriage on April 3, 1960 to David Holman who survives at the home.

To this union were two sons. Jeff, and wife Michelle, Jeral and wife Regina, all of Alton, MO. Five grandchildren, Jana Wilkerson husband Max, Tyler Holman wife Cari, Abby Casey husband Chad, Tori Edwards husband Jed, and Treyce Holman. Six great grandchildren, Cameron, Bristal, Crayton, Carstyn, Emalyn, and Ellisyn. Survivors also include, one brother Curtis Pitts wife Carol, one brother-in-law Dwight Holman wife Sue. Two sister-in-laws, Dana Stroud and Judy Holman. A very special, life-long friend Wilma Pratt. As well as many, many, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Dan and Helen (Wiggs)Pitts, her twin brother Joe Dan Pitts, her brother Keith Pitts wife Paulette, two brother- in-laws, Carlos Stroud and Darrell Holman. One very precious great granddaughter Londyn Reese Casey.

Mary Ann spent 30 years of her time devoted to her job with Southwest Missouri Office on Aging, Alton Senior Citizens Center. Mary Ann helped many people throughout her career and made many life-long friends whom she loved dearly. Mary Ann was a life-long, charter member of the Bailey Freewill Baptist Church. She served her church faithfully and loved her church family dearly. Her Christian values were an inspiration to her family, community, and all who knew her that will be cherished for a lifetime. She never had a negative word to say about anyone and treated everyone with love, dignity and respect. She will forever be remembered as the most amazing wife, mother, and Granny, who loved and cherished her children and grandchildren more than life itself. Her infectious smile contagious “giggle” will be greatly missed by all she came in contact with.

Pallbearers: Mark Holman, Brent Holman, Billy Holman, Matt Pitts, Marc Pitts, and Stephen Clark. Honorary Pallbearers: Max Wilkerson, Chad Casey, Jed Edwards, Dennis Orr, Gayle AraSmith, Todd Hornback, Norman Hollis and Mark Rackley, Gary McClanahan, David Stubblefield, and Jerry Wilkerson. Pastors: Darrell Strain and Robert Wiggs.

Services will be held on September 30, 2020 at 2pm at the Bailey Freewill Baptist Church, located from Alton, North 19 to County road 106. Visitation Tuesday evening 6-8pm at Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO.
