Chester Miller age 77 of Thomasville, Mo, was born July 26,1943 at Thomasville MO and passed away September 21, 2020 at his home. He was united in marriage to Kylene Smotherman on March 18, 1966, who survives. Other survivors include; two sons Scott Fisher and wife April Oklahoma, Stuart Miller and wife Mikki West Plains MO, daughter Stacey Miller Middleton and husband Dallas Alton MO, his mother Pauline Miller Thomasville, MO, sisters Wanda Daves and husband Wesley Thomasville, MO, Vivian Trantham and husband Glen Rover MO, brother Hershel Miller and wife BJ Alton, MO, grandchildren Mason Miller and spouse, Alex Chapman and spouse, Garrett Middleton and Nikki, Dylan Middleton and Brenda, Zack Miller and Raelyn, Gracie Miller, Joshua Fisher, Jacob Fisher and Lilly Fisher, great-grandchildren Sophie Middleton, Addy Middleton, Kash Middleton, Grayson, Maura, and Rayane and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends He was preceded in death by his father Ernest Miller, and Aleta sister/birth and Ella Miller sister in law Chester was a self-taught mechanic, working many years for the Eleven Point Ranch in Thomasville, MO. He loved his family and friends; he never met a stranger and always saw the good and kindness in people. He was a nature and animal lover, loved looking for arrowheads in a freshly plowed field and loved to tell stories about history and cars, enjoyed reading and puzzles and cherished the country life, he will forever be missed. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Huddleston Cemetery with William Ross Hicks ( nephew) officiating. Honorary Pallbearers Dallas Middleton, Garrett Middleton, Dylan Middleton, Stuart Miller, Zack Miller and Scott Fisher. Arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, mO. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the OMC Cancer Foundation in West Plains Mo. |
