Heaven has received a sweet soul. William Owens Fraley, 18, of Couch, Missouri. He was born
in Springfield, MO May 28,2002 and went to meet his heavenly father on Tuesday, August 25,
2020.

Will is a member of the Alton United Methodist Church and loved his church family deeply. When he knew the hymn well, the whole church knew it. He was especially fond of his Sunday School teacher, Ms. Marian Goodding. Will was a 2020 graduate of Couch High School where he was actively involved in FFA, serving as Sentinel his Senior year. He was also a member of the A+ program, Art Club, Beta Club, Library Club, Science Club and the Cross-Country Team. He was currently attending Black River Technical College in Pocahontas in hopes of mastering the skill of welding. He was a member of the Alton Boy Scout Troop 102, where he received his Eagle Scout, the highest honor bestowed in Boy Scouts. He also achieved Brotherhood in the Order of the Arrow.
He enjoyed camping, kayaking, and spending time with his fellow Scouts including his brothers
and Dad.

Will had a deep love of family. He grew up on the family farm working alongside his Dad and
brothers; he especially liked cutting, raking and baling hay. He loved hunting, fishing, and frog
gigging with his brothers. He deeply loved his Mom who was his guiding light and biggest
cheerleader. He loved spending time with family watching movies, his favorite has also been Cars, playing games, and eating, he loved to eat! He was also known to crank up the volume to a good country song and sing along at the top of his lungs whenever and wherever. Will had a big heart that he was willing to share. He never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, George and Helen Fraley of Couch, MO and his
Poppa, Richard Owens of Sedgwick, AR.

He is survived by his Dad, Carl, and Mom, Dianna, and his best friends-his brothers Mike and
Brandon, all of the home. He leaves behind his Granny, Carrol Owens of Sedgwick, AR, aunts
and uncles, Cindy Shimasaki of Sedgwick, AR, Frank and Brandi Owens of Walnut Ridge, AR,
Mary Owens of Maynard, AR, Mary and the late Jim Fisher of Phillipsburg, MO, Frances and
Jerry Lafferty, of Seymour, MO, Phyllis and Alvin Moffis, of Thayer, MO, and George and
Cindy Fraley of Couch, MO as well as many other family and friends, including his good friend
Jake Summers.

Pallbearers are Mike Fraley, Brandon Fraley, George Fraley, Frank Owens, Matt Shimasaki,
Justin Fisher, Nathan Sanders, and Jake Summers. Honorary pallbearers are Boy Scout Troop 102 and the Alton United Methodist Men.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the William Owens Fraley
Memorial Scholarship at Couch School. Donations can be sent in care of Couch School, 22206
MO 142, Myrtle, MO 65778. Or to the Norman Cemetery 7779 MO19 Thayer, MO 65791.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Norman Cemetery with Pastor Pamela Ekey officiating. Arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO
