Mary Christine Pingleton, age 80, of Koshkonong, MO, passed away April 13, 2020. Christine was born June 23, 1939, to Lester and Josephine Holman in the Norman community. Christine married Max Pingleton on November 26, 1958. He preceded her in death a few months before their 50th wedding anniversary. Christine was a homemaker and lived many years in Poplar Bluff, MO, before moving to Koshkonong in 2002. Her joy in life was her kids and grandkids. Family was everything to her. She enjoyed sitting in her sunroom, a good bowl of potato soup and a slice of chocolate pie. She was a member of United Baptist Church in Alton for many years. Survivors include her son Greg Pingleton and his wife Becky; and her daughter Kristy Fluhr and her husband Chris; Grandsons Michael Pingleton and Tristan Fluhr; Twin Granddaughters Megan and Marissa Fluhr; her sister Alice Barton (Howard) and her brother Jack Holman; sisters-in-law Georgia Wynn and Freda Weber (Butch); many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO. Burial of ashes will follow at the Huddleston Cemetery.
