Linda Sue “Susie” Grooms, age 77 of Alton, MO was born March 9, 1943 in St. Louis, MO and passed away March 16, 2020 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO. Survivors include her son Russell Grooms of Alton, MO and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, John Irvin Clapp and Maudie Rachel Johnson Clapp, her husband George Thurman Grooms, three sisters, Viola Mae Atchison, Linda Deitz, Betty Olsheske, three brothers, Leamon, Raymon and Tillman Clapp. Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 20, 2020 at the Norman Church with Bro. Wayne Adrian officiating. Burial will be in the Norman Cemetery under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO. |
