Barbara Fa’tie Grooms, age 82, of Thayer, MO, was born October 31, 1937, near Thayer, MO, and passed away March 13, 2020, at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, MO.

Survivors include: 2 sisters, Lorene Grooms and Frances Flynn & husband Howard; 2 nieces, Sonya Flynn and Sherri Flynn; 1 great-niece, Abigail Williams; 5 great-nephews, Noah Williams, Jonah Williams, Benjamin Williams, Joshua Williams, and Samuel Williams; several cousins; and numerous other relatives & friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Leo Eli and Dorothy (Lewallen) Grooms; 1 brother, Billy Ray Grooms.

Services will be 2pm Monday, March 16, 2020, at the Norman Church near Thayer, MO, with Bro. Wayne Adrian officiating, and burial following in the Norman Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
