Robert Wilbur “Bob” Cox, age 73 of Thayer, MO, was born October 24, 1946, in Lake City, TN, and passed away February 20, 2020, at his home.

Survivors include: his wife, Barbara (Childers) Cox, of the home; 3 daughters, Tonya Richards and husband Garold of Conway, MO, Tracey Ford and husband Charles of Thayer, MO, and Teri Cox of Thayer, MO; 7 grandchildren, Geoffrey, Marissa, Laine, Luke, Beau, Pyper, and Kasyn; 1 step-grandson, Nick Ford; 1 great-granddaughter, Lilly; 1 sister, Joy Barnhill of Florida; 1 brother, Ray Cox of Tennessee; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Hector and Pearl (Narramore) Cox; 3 sisters, Shirley, Jane, and Judy; 4 brothers, Ted, Phil, Bruce and Terry.

Bob worked for Howell-Oregon for many years. He enjoyed fishing as well as telling stories about using horses and mules on the family farm while growing up in Tennessee.
