Carl Jessie Gamblin, age 77 of Alton, MO, was born February 4, 1942, in Thayer, MO, and passed away September 18, 2019, at this home. Survivors include: his children, Danny Gamblin and wife Liz of Overbrook, MO, Chad Gamblin and wife Kim of St. Joseph, MO; 1 grandchild, Kylie Threlkeld; 1 great-grandchild, Emmerson Threlkeld; 3 sisters, Janie Gamblin of Alton, MO, and Judy Burchfield and Husband Roger of Alton, MO, Edna Gamblin of Collinsville, IL; 2 brothers, Donald Gamblin and wife Carol of Theodosia, MO, Joe Dale Gamblin and wife Patti of Alton, MO; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Joe and Pearlie (Hall) Gamblin; 1 sister, Shirley Gamblin; 2 brothers, Floyd Gamblin and Cecil Gamblin; 1 grandson, Bryce Gamblin. Funeral services will be 10am Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the Clary Funeral Home in Alton, MO with Bro. Darryl Strain officiating, and burial following in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Alton, MO. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Friday, September 20, 2019, at Clary Funeral Home in Alton, MO. |
