Joyce Katherine (Plack) Roberts was born August 18, 1930 in St. Louis, MO and departed this life on June 27, 2019 in West Plains, MO with her family by her side.

She is survived by two sons; Michael Allen Roberts and wife Shirley of Alton, MO, Glenn Duane Roberts and wife Glenda of Marshfield, MO, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; Dustin Roberts (Jacob, Brinleigh), Glenn Roberts II and wife Moriah (Colt), Dylan Roberts (Adaleah) and Candace Roberts. Joyce is also survived by her former daughter-in-law Susan Roberts of West Plains and brother-in-law Melvin Lawrence and wife of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Lucy Plack, her husband Lloyd (Tom) Roberts, grandson Douglas Michael Roberts, granddaughter Arabella Roberts and six brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

Joyce grew up in St. Louis, MO and after graduating high school went to work for the telephone company. She met her future husband Tom Roberts while on vacation at the river in Riverton, MO, and they were married January 28, 1956 in St. Louis, MO. She continued working at the telephone company until they moved to Alton, MO where they made their home and raised their family. Joyce enjoyed sewing, listening to gospel music and her grandchildren.

Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Three Rivers Chaplain David Langston officiating, burial in the Many Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until service time. Pallbearers; Dustin Roberts, Glenn Roberts II, Dylan Roberts, Josh Roberts, Mack Roberts and Tom Roberts.
