Doyle Eugene Mills, age 78 of Mammoth Spring, AR, was born May 22, 1940, in Saddle, AR, and passed away May 12, 2019, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville, AR.

Survivors include: 1 brother, Noel Mills and wife Willa Faye of Mammoth Spring, AR; numerous nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by: his parents, James Lee and Ella Jane (Mooney) Mills; his sisters, Novalene Mills, Carolyn Mills, Claudette Mills, Colene Faye Mills, and Leveda McCord; his brothers, Eldon Mills and Oral Mills.

Doyle lived most of his life in the Saddle Community but due to declining health he spent the last year in the Cave City Nursing Home where he was well liked by all the staff and residents. The majority of his life he worked in the logging industry and owned and operated a sawmill with his brother Oral for many years. He enjoyed hunting and spending time on the farm with his cattle. Doyle enjoyed time spent with his family. He loved to laugh and was always making others laugh. One of his greatest joys was cutting up with his nieces and nephews and aggravating them. He was a special brother, uncle, great uncle and great-great uncle and will truly be missed.

Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Ferrell Nicholson officiating, and burial following in the Burks Chapel Cemetery in Camp, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
