Leonard Roscoe Vaughn, age 90 of Mammoth Spring, AR, was born July 29, 1928, in Moody, MO, and passed away February 4, 2019, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, AR.

Survivors include: two daughters, Treda Traw, Joyce Barymon and husband Kluck; two sons, Leon Vaughn and wife Bonita, Ronald Vaughn; seven grandchildren, Katrina, Kenneth, Joseph, Randy, Alissa, Dawnisa and Tonya; 16 great-grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Dorothy Ashbrook, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were: his parents, Marion and Cora Vaughn; first wife, Virginia Carter Vaughn, which brought forth five children, a daughter, Virginia Sue Phipps, one grandson, Steven Vaughn, wives Edna Vaughn and Kay Vaughn, a special son-in-law Nicky Traw and one brother Harold Vaughn.

Roscoe was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Army, then worked at a chicken plant driving a truck and later retired from Ozark Gas Company after over 30 years of service. He loved life and was very outgoing. He enjoyed playing pool and hanging out with his friends at the Mammoth Spring Senior Citizens Center, was always doing wood working projects, oftentimes for the Senior Center.

Services will be 2pm Thursday, February 7, 2019, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Anthony Woods officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, AR. Visitation will be Thursday, 1pm-2pm at the funeral home.
