Phyllis June Underwood, age 71 of Thayer, MO, was born March 11, 1947, in Mammoth Spring, AR, and departed this earth Saturday Nov.3rd, 2018, at Shady Oaks Health care. Phyllis was raised in Myrtle, MO, and graduated Couch school in 1965, and was a kind, caring, hardworking lady & a loving mother of 2. Survivors include: her ex-husband, Dean Cantrell of Thayer, MO; her daughter, Lynnette Veazie and husband Randell of Highland, AR; her grandchildren, Randi Cantrell, Rikki Cantrell, Mason Cantrell, Haley Cantrell, and Aleea Veazie; her siblings, Anna Underwood, Reta Brewer, Doris Palmer, and George Underwood and his wife Debbie; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her father, Dorris Underwood; her mother, Louise Presnell; 1 son, Tony Cantrell; 1 sister, Dorothy Ledbetter. Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with visitation from 1pm-2pm just prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Myrtle Cemetery in Myrtle, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
