Ruby Marie (Childers) Sloan, age 91 of Koshkonong, MO, was born July 13, 1927, in Koshkonong, MO, and passed away August 1, 2018, at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, MO.

Survivors include: 3 daughters, Anita McGill of Malden, MO, Shirley Holden & husband Ron of Brimley, MI, and Sheila Hester & husband Carl of Sandoval, IL; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Barbara Allen of Thayer, MO; and 1 brother, Ron Childers of Alton, MO.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Jim; her parents, Ivory and Edna (Winn) Childers; 1 brother, J.D. Childers; and 2 son-in-laws, Carl McGill and Jerry Stump.

Funeral services will be 2pm Saturday, August 4, 2018, at the Clifton Freewill Baptist Church in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Darrell Mitchell officiating, and burial following in the Koshkonong Cemetery in Koshkonong, MO. Visitation will be 12pm-2pm prior to the funeral. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
