Doris Jean Thompson, age 87 of Alton, MO was born January 7, 1931 near Appleton City, MO and passed away May 13, 2018 at Shady Oaks Health Care, Thayer, MO.

Doris was an only child, spending most of her childhood around Harrisonville, MO. She graduated from Pleasant Hill School in 1948, later moving to Oregon County, MO where she met and married Happy J. Thompson.

Survivors include; two stepchildren, Jerry Thompson and Anna Jean Williams, several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Ernest A. and Gladys E. Williams and her husband, Happy J. Thomson.

Services will be 6:00 pm Tuesday. May 15, 2018 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. Edward Casey officiating. Burial will be in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, MO.
