Brenda Sue Robinson was born April 24, 1956, to Dwight and Helen (Dills) Robinson in Jonesboro, AR. She passed away November 12, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO, at 61 years of age. She is survived by her two sisters, Rhonda Robinson of Thayer, MO, Lynn Martin and husband Gene of Thayer, MO; two nephews, Samuel Martin and Jessica of Nixa, MO, Matthew Martin and Ashley of Thayer, MO; and ex-husband Rick Calbert of Thayer, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents: Dwight and Helen Robinson; paternal grandparents, Charlie and Dorothy (Alford) Robinson; and maternal grandmothers, Winnie (Daily) Dills and Eunice (Cathey) Dills. Brenda was co-owner of Robinson Memorials in Thayer, MO. She began working in the family business in 1975. Her artistic abilities provided customized designs for her customers. Her gift of gab provided customers with a sense of caring and comfort. She was a graduate of Thayer High School Class of 1974. She enjoyed keeping in touch with her classmates through the years. Brenda’s mischievous sense of humor will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and the community in which she lived. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at 2pm. Burial will be in the Thayer Cemetery in Thayer, MO, with services under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home. |
