Paul Russell McGary, age 80, was born March 18, 1937, in Alton, MO, and passed away March 3, 2018, at his home in West Plains, MO. He was united in marriage to Shirley Frost on March 19, 1982. Survivors include: his wife, Shirley McGary; 1 son, Gerald Smith; grandchildren, Summer, Morgan and Nathan, all of whom were his pride and joy. Also, two sisters, Lavern Cockman and Elsie Rutherford, three brothers, Cecil McGary, Wesley McGary and Roscoe McGary, and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were: his parents, Loyd McGary and Dorothy Dodson-McGary; one sister, Estalee Williams; one brother, Thomas McGary; and a special nephew, Bill McGary. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at the Clary Funeral Home in Alton, MO, with Bro. Keith Combs officiating, with burial following in the Bailey Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 pm-8:00 pm Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Riverways Hospice or the Ozarks Medical Center Cancer Treatment Center. |
