May Beth Rasberry Bradford was born May 10, 1936 to Herbert ‘Pete’ Rasberry and Tressie Pauline (Womack) Rasberry in Quitman, Louisiana and moved to Glory February 8, 2018 from OMC, West Plains, Mo. On May 4, 1953 in Rockport, Texas she married her sweetheart, Vernon B. Bradford, who preceded her in death on April 18, 2016. Survivors include her children: Peter L. Bradford and wife, Carmen, of Shreveport, La., Debora Clark and husband, Jim of Alton, Mo., Jeffery L. Bradford of Mooringsport, La., and Roger M. Bradford and wife, Tammie of Jefferson, Texas. Her grandchildren; Amy Deschler, Jeremy Bradford, Wesley Evans, Shawna Bradford, Tess Bradford, Madeline Bradford. Seven great-grandchildren: Daley, Dirk, Grady, Emerson, Charlie, Caiden, Juddson and one on the way. A numerous extended family of bonus grandchildren, great and great, great grandchildren. Many friends and loved ones in both Missouri and Louisiana. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, son-Gregory Vernon Bradford, granddaughter-Rebecca Bradford, brother-Larry K. Rasberry. May Beth loved her Shepherd’s View family, and was very appreciative of each and every one. She enjoyed playing her piano and various needle crafts. She was colorful, the whole box of crayons! A joint Celebration of Life will be held 6:00 pm Saturday, Feb.10, 2018 for both May Beth and Vernon at Clary Funeral Home, Alton, Mo. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until service time. Burial and graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Haughton, Louisiana 3:00 PM. Sunday, February 11, 2018. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please make a donation to your favorite charity and love your family like there is no tomorrow. |
