Ronald Fredrick Miller, age 71, was born June 20, 1946 and passed away Sat. January 6th, 2018 at Ozarks Medical center, West Plains, MO.

He was an auto, plane, boat, sign, custom painter. While in Jr. High he started his own T-shirt business, airbrushing many colorful interesting designs during the late 1950's. Ron graduated in 1964 from Pioneer High School in Pico Rivera, California. Ron was a veteran in the Vietnam War; he was in the Navy & was on the destroyer the Nicholas. He was a custom motorcycle painter, pinstripe and airbrusher working for himself, Bobby G's of Las Vegas in Washington State & painted 100's of bikes, signs, and anything that need be. Many of the bikes he painted went on to win 1st place at shows. He painted many custom Harleys' for the local police and private customers during the 6 yrs he lived there.

Along with his artwork, he was an excellent musician who played at The Monterey Pop festival and many other venues plus he loved to play his harmonica & sing for all of his friends. He also played the trumpet and guitar. He and Juanita moved to Oregon County, Missouri in 1997 and lived in Gatewood and Alton during his years here. He worked for six years at Paintmaster's on "P" highway. He was a full body man & was involved in the restoration of the Suburban "Beatle Wagon" the vehicle The Beatles rode around in while they visited Alton in 1963. He retired to grow garden of vegetables, and take care of his various pets, including his miniature stallion, Smokey. He loved animals & was a true conservationist.

He was a member of The Church of Christ in his hometown. He has been with his partner in life Juanita Meier for 30 years. He adored her two sons as if they were his own. Ron was a very friendly outgoing man who liked everyone and was always happy. Ron will be missed beyond comprehension by his family and friends.

Ron is survived by Juanita Meier, stepsons John Meier, Bryant Meier, their children Piper Meier, Finley Meier, Noah Meier, other numerous relatives and many friends.

The body will be cremated with a memorial service at a later date.
