Glyna J. Bridges, age 101 of Alton, MO, was born August 8, 1916, in Greer, MO, and passed away November 1, 2017, at Shady Oaks Healthcare in Thayer, MO.

Survivors include: 5 daughters, Christine Cochran & husband Charles of Kosh, MO, Arlene Birmingham of Bull Shoals, AR, Fern Gwaltney & husband Dennis of Belleville, IL, Judy Jones of West Plains, MO, & Cathy Crass & husband Jim of Thayer, MO; 3 sons, Donnie Bridges & wife Lillian of Alton, MO, Phillip Bridges of Alton, MO, & Dennis Bridges & wife Karen of Alton, MO; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Clint; her parents, Don & Sadie (Douglass) Alcorn; & 2 sons, Joe Bridges & Carson Bridges.

Funeral Services will be held 2pm Sunday, November 5, 2017, at the Clary Funeral Home in Alton, MO, with Bro. Richard Robison officiating, and burial following in the Bailey Cemetery in Alton, MO. Visitation will be 1pm-2pm just prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO.
