Billy Leon Meeker was born the son of the late Theodore Roosevelt Meeker and Nancy Mae (Laster) Meeker, on January 20, 1942, in Fulton County, Arkansas, and departed this life October 13, 2017, in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 75.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of the home; a son, Tony Ray Meeker of Kansas City, Kansas; a daughter, Shawn Coffelt and husband Jim Coffelt of Protem, Missouri; 8 grandchildren, Dalton, Tonya, Samantha, Sarah, Zachary, Brandi, Conlan, and Sarah; four great grandchildren, Kahlibur, Jr., Julianna, and Barrett; his sister, Sue Meeker; his brothers, James Meeker and Jackie Meeker; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Roosevelt Meeker and Nancy Mae (Laster) Meeker; baby daughter, Taunya Renee' Meeker; baby sister, Shirley Mae; and sister Tommy
Hatfield.

He was of Baptist faith, and will be missed by his family and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm Saturday, October 21, 2017, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. John Holesapple officiating.
