Evelyn Mae Dustin, age 67, was born May 20, 1949, in Thayer, MO, and departed this life April 15, 2017, in Thayer, MO.

She was born the daughter of Newman Childers, Jr., and Goldina Nelson Childers. In 1969 she was married to Gene Kimberlin of Peoria, IL, and to this union two children were born. She was then married in 1993 to Darrell Dustin of Thayer, MO.

She was a homemaker and worked at Country Cottage for 30 years, where she made so many friends over this time. She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by: her mother, Goldina Hansen of Thayer, MO; two daughters, Bonnie Mitchell and husband Shorty, and Jeannie Geissinger and husband Milton; her brother, Lewis Childers & wife Betty; her sisters, Mary Everett and husband James, and Barbara Cox and husband Robert; her grandchildren, Stephanie Cox and husband Nathan, Sindy Friel and husband Blake, Bailey Geissinger, Dalton Geissinger; her great-granddaughter, Zaylie Friel; as well as a host of special cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Darrell Dustin; her father, Newman Childers, Jr; her step “Dad” James Lee Hansen; and special cousin Bill Nelson.

She was very loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. David Langston officiating, and burial following in the Walker Cemetery. Visitation will be 1pm-2pm Tuesday, just prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.

Pallbearers: Ray Gene Edwards, Darrell Phipps, Doug Buchanan, Van Baker, Ron Paulson, James Frealy. Honorary Pallbearers: Earl “Buddy” Rogers, Dalton Geissinger, Noval Willbanks

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the OMC Cancer Treatment Center in West Plains, MO.
