Hugh Laster, Jr, age 75 of Little Rock, AR (formerly of Saddle, AR), was born October 13, 1941 near Mammoth Spring, AR and passed away April 1, 2017, at the McClelland Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, AR. In 1967, he married Letha Taylor and to this union one son was born. He later married Judith Burk. He served in the US Army from 1963 to 1965. Survivors include: one son, Hugh Allen Laster of North Carolina; five grandchildren, Cody, Katie, William, Gabriel, Teresa Mae; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bette (Keith) Langston, Mary Jane (Larry) Taylor and Elouise (Doug) Johnson, all of Mammoth Spring, AR. Preceding him in death were: his parents, Hugh Laster and Mae Whiteside Laster; and his stepfather Terry Frazier. Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO, with burial following in the Shiloh Cemetery in Saddle, AR, with Bro. Ricky Ragsdale officiating. Visitation will be 1pm-2pm Tuesday, April 4, 2017, just prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO. |
