Vida Marie Turner, age 95 of Alton, MO was born April 15, 1921 in Alton, MO and passed away March 2, 2017 at West Vue Nursing Center. Survivors include; one brother, Don Bettis, two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, Joseph Clay Bettis and Margaret NanceBettis, her husband, William Harvey Turner, two sisters, Pauline Johnson and Opal Johnson, four brothers, Arthur, Howard, Ted and Clifford Bettis, one daughter, Glenda Sue Atkins and a grandson, Nicholas Brian Atkins. Vida was a loving, and caring person and a devout Christian and was looking forward to the day she meet the Lord and once again be with her loved ones. The body will be cremated with a private service, and burial, at a later date in the Bailey Cemetery. |
