Emma Marie Crabtree, age 89 of Alton, MO was born March 19, 1927 in North East, MD and passed away December 9, 2016 at National Healthcare, West Plains, MO.

Survivors include; sister Mary A. Rakes (Earl), Colora, MD, nine children, Charles Lockard, JR, Dorothy Lockard, both of Alton, MO, Robert Lockard, North East, MD, Barbara Verone (Howard) of Ridgecrest, CA, Carolyn Sue Coppola, Rising Sun, MD, Carol Vaccarini (Jule), Conowingo, MD, Raymond Carbtree (Sandy), Coeur, d’Alene, ID, Roger Crabtree, San Diego, CA, Stephanie Moxley, San Diego, CA, 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin T. McDowell and Annie L. Kirkpatrick-McDowell, he husband, Raymond K. Crabtree (USN retired), sister, Ethel L. Brown (Lewis), step-daughter, Louise Morse, step-son, Richard Crabtree.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Alton United Methodist Church with Pastor Pam Ekey officiating.

Burial will be in the El Cajon Cemetery, El Cajon, CA.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
