Leoid Ezra Case (Tutor) was born October 31, 1923 in Bell City, MO. He traveled to heaven September 5, 2016, to see his Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ; his mother, Nora Case; father, Riley Case; siblings infant Ray, Nellie, and John D; and ten half-brothers and two half-sisters.

Leoid married the love of his life, Artie Marie Simpson, November 7, 1945—together 70 years and 10 months. He worked as a carpenter to support his family.

Leoid and Artie have two children, David Lee Case and wife Rosemary, Alton, MO and Connie Case Wilson and husband Tom Wilson, Springfield, MO. Sweethearts for 71 years, Leoid and Artie were blessed with four grandchildren, Julie Hollis, Alton, MO; Janine Jenkins, husband Morris, Gainesville, MO; Joy Caldwell, husband Bob, Arnold, MO; Joshua Wilson, wife Renee, Denver, CO; 13 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Leoid was a deacon in Victory Free Will Baptist Church, Alton, MO. He was a member of the United States Army, and he served his country in WWII. Leoid was known as Granddad to his family; he is the patriarch of his family, greatly loved, and he will be greatly missed.


Visitation will be 10:00- 11:00 am Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at the Wilderness Church, Wilderness, MO, with services to follow at 11:00 am. Officiating: Bro Bob Caldwell & Bro Wayne Adrian, pallbearers: Riley Jenkins, Isaiah Caldwell, Brady Jenkins, Josiah Caldwell, Micaiah Wilson, Landry Jenkins, Noah Caldwell. Burial in the Wilderness Cemetery.
