Marcia Liu Kantola, age 41 of Thayer, MO, was born December 17, 1974, in Los Angeles, CA, and passed away August 7, 2016, at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, MO.

Survivors include: her husband, Matthew Kantola of the home; 2 daughters, Brayden Kantola and Jordan Kantola, of Thayer, MO; her father, Dennis Liu; 2 sisters, Jarcia Kosinski & husband Paul of Huntsville, AL, and Angie Liu of New York, New York; 1 brother, Joseph Liu of Nixa, MO; her nieces & nephews, Michael, Anthony, Marianna, Jonathan, and Joseph; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her mother, Jean Ann (Clary) Liu; and her nephew, Myles Kosinski.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday August 12, 2016 at the Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, West Plains, MO with visitation to follow in the church’s fellowship hall, ending at 9:00 pm.

A funeral service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Clinton, MO.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kantola Children College fund, and can be left at Community First Bank 323 E. Walnut, Thayer, MO.
