Virginia Idella Vest, age 86 of Caseyville, IL, formerly of Alton, MO was born March 29, 1924 in Alton, MO and passed away February 11, 2011 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Survivors include; one daughter, Mayetta �Jo� (Gary) Reed, Collinsville, IL, two sons, Richard (Debbie) Vest, Granite City, IL, Billy (Dee) Vest, Gainesville, MO, five grandchildren; David (Melissa) Reed, Edwardsville, IL, Christopher (Ginger) Reed, Troy, IL, Kimberly Robert, Carlyle, IL, Anne (Jeremy) Bauman, Troy, IL, Nicholas (Jessica) Daniels, Granite City, IL, ten great-grandchildren, Alexis, Ashley & Hannah Robert, Micayla Klein, Callie & Ava Daniels, Daniel, Joshua & Garrison Reed, Brad Bauman, two sisters-in-laws Nellie McClanahan & Delora Vest, one brother-in-law Eugene �Mood� Williams and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Chloe Mae (Murray) McClanahan, her husband, Archie Vest, one granddaughter, Dawn Renee Vest, two sisters, Lorene Whitworth and Helen Williams, two brothers, Noel McClanahan and Doyle McClanahan.

Services will be 10:00am Monday, February 14, 2011 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. Darrell Strain officiating, visitation Sunday, 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bailey Cemetery.
